Domain Name Ownership

Who owns your domain name? If it is your domain name, absolutely you are the owner of your domain name.

How to check domain ownership?

Easiest way is WHOIS lookup – Anyone can check domain name registration information by running a WHOIS lookup query. It will return all the associated information for your domain name.

If you added domain privacy protection, through WHOIS lookup you cannot verify details since its displays dummy data to protect your domain name.

Second and best method – Log in to your domain name control panel and view your domain name. There you can see what details used to register your domain name and verify details. You can modify if details are incorrect.
